Tip toe if you must!

I think one of the biggest obstacles in achieving success can often be motivation. The definition of success can vary from one person to another, but the common denominator is how to focus on the goal you’re wanting to achieve, and how do you keep that mindset. We can often get lost in the why, how, when, and sometimes even, where. This confusion leads to avoiding a new goal entirely because you lose sight of the bigger picture getting caught up in all the small things.

Setting a goal is the most crucial step in achieving success. Start off by asking yourself a few questions:

What is it that I want to achieve for myself, for my family? Is it financial freedom? Time freedom?

So, how do you do it? Success starts with creating a daily routine and then executing it. Whether it’s making it to the gym, making those 5 phone calls, creating a meal plan to cut out carbs; whatever it is, start there! Start right where you are. That daily routine eventually becomes a habit. Don’t over think it and surely don’t over complicate it!

You see, four years ago, I made a decision that I needed to change something. I was tired. Exhausted. In debt. And truly running out of steam. I owed it to myself and to my family to make that CHANGE! Here’s how I got started:

  1. I wrote down my goals.
  2. I set deadlines for myself. Daily, weekly, monthly, and even yearly.
  3. I took that first step!
  4. I worked on mindset and surrounded myself with other motivated leaders.
  5. I completed my tasks, and re-evaluated where I was, and how I was progressing.

It’s time to believe in yourself. Believe in the meaning of what it means to achieve the success that you have dreamed of. You can do it. Reflect on even the simplest accomplishment for motivation.

“Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tip toe if you must, but take the first step!”

Don’t let anyone stand in your way. Especially yourself. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I would have listened to so many around me saying, “it won’t work”, or “it won’t last”.

Success is very real and very possible. There’s no huge secret. Create that vision board and lets turn those dreams of yours into reality!
