I’ve always felt this and now I want to get it out to everyone looking to be better or to take a step up in your company, your career, your family, or education.
True joy comes from investing in others and seeing the positive results that come. And the best part is as you help others around you take a step towards something better, you rise too!
From a practical standpoint it’s true, if you want to get to the place of success you’ve got to put in lots of hard work and you have to be determined to never give up. But, I know without a doubt I would not be where I am today without the encouragement and help from others that were ahead of me and I am so thankful for those who believed in me. That’s not to say I didn’t have critics in my life, (because there were plenty), but I chose to listen to those who wanted to see me succeed.
So here’s a question for you. If you are already thriving where you are and happy with who you are; are you investing in anyone around you? Who are you lifting today? We were made to encourage one another —to build each other up. We are not here to tear each other down or to minimize one another. Think about that for a second, how far has that negativity gotten you? Right?!
Stop listening to your critics. Start seeing what is possible. I hope this encourages you today!! And more than that, I hope you take some time today to encourage those who have been put into your life!
